Projects
Icewood works within residential, hospitality, and private collector environments where material presence defines spatial atmosphere.
Architecture as Collaboration
Each Icewood project is developed in response to architectural context.
Rather than placing objects into spaces, Icewood integrates form, scale, and material directly into the spatial language of each environment.
The result is a series of environments where furniture behaves as architecture.
Selected Environments
1. RESIDENTIAL SPACES
Private interiors where Icewood forms define daily spatial experience.
Residential projects focus on scale, intimacy, and long-term material presence. Each work is positioned as a central architectural element within the home.
3. HOSPITALITY
Hotels, restaurants, and curated guest environments.
Hospitality projects focus on collective experience, where Icewood forms contribute to spatial identity and sensory memory.
4. COLLECTOR SPACES
Private galleries, residences, and curated collections.
These environments prioritize rarity, material presence, and sculptural impact. Icewood works function as collectible spatial objects.
Spatial Intent
Each project is guided by three principles:
1. Material Presence
The natural structure of Ancient Kauri defines visual and spatial weight.
2. Architectural Integration
Forms are positioned as part of the architectural composition, not as additions.
3. Atmospheric Permanence
Each environment is designed to age with its material context.
Selected Works
Horizon by SkyCity
Auckland, New Zealand
At Horizon by SkyCity, the lobby space is defined by an Icewood Ancient Kauri Titan Series coffee table, created in collaboration with Furnz.
Set within a contemporary architectural interior, the piece operates as a sculptural focal point, expressing the depth, scale, and permanence of Ancient Kauri within a public spatial context.

Pangea Table
Piazza Italy, Milan Expo 2015
Pangea table was on display in the amazing and central location of Piazza Italia, the heart of Expo 2015.
The project took its inspiration and its name from Pangea, the single continental mass that is thought to have included all the land above sea-level and which in later geological eras broke up to form today’s continents.
The 80 square meter top made from Ancient Kauri was supplied by ICEWOOD Ancient Kauri and designed by Riva 1920. It was made of 19 shaped pieces and it was supported by 271 legs in Briccola wood, oak posts retrieved from Venice Lagoon.
